Although we cannot find the Public Notice in our files, requiring the City of Espanola to publish this Public Notice now will only confuse the public since the exceedance occurred almost 4 years ago. In addition, the NOV letter was addressed to Gloria Gonzales, and not Steven Trujillo. Currently, the Entry Point #1 has a RAA of 0.007 mg/L (7 ppb) so is under the arsenic MCL. The City of Espanola has published many arsenic Public Notices over the last four years and the Public should be aware of the historical arsenic exceedances. The arsenic concentration at Entry Point #1 has been below the MCL for 13 of 14 quarters since the second quarter 2016.
